Furnas Transmission System
The Furnas transmission system was designed to send the energy produced by the Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant to the consumer centers in Southern and Southeastern Brazil. At the Furnas Visitor Center, with capacity for 80 people, it is possible to watch a technical film about the pioneer projects developed to send energy all over Brazil. Visits must be arranged in advance. We can book it for you.
