Ecomuseum
Created in 1987, the Ecomuseum serves as a center of integration for the regional community. Its outstanding functions include research and the conservation and exhibition of material related to the flora, fauna and the cultural heritage of the region. The Ecomuseum exhibits collections dealing with the archaeology, geology, botany, zoology, ethnography, history, science and technology of the region. These collections have been set up in a sequence of exhibits that allow the visitor to obtain a wide-ranging panoramic vision of the natural and social aspects of the region in which the Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Station was built. Price of the ticket is USD $4.50.
