Zoo - Bosque Guarani
It was open to help with the environmental education and also as a leisure area for local inhabitants. The zoo has about 5 acres in the heart of the city and there are about 400 animals representing the local fauna distributed in 21 cages and aviaries. In the facilities there are birds, reptiles and mammals. One has a chance to see the macaws, parrots, jays, hawks, little turtles, wolfs, rodents, wild cats, monkeys, sneaks and jaguars. Some of the animals were rescued from traders, others were donate or exchanged with different zoo.
